You absolutely do not have to be living in your car, have a near death experience, be homeless, or have a miraculous cure from a disease to have something valuable to contribute.
Your curiosity is enough. Your discovery is enough. Your enthusiasm is enough. And your desire to be of service is more than enough to share what you’ve learned and know.
That’s not to take anything away from people who require a more dramatic amount of contrast to learn their lessons or take the actions that lead to shifts in their circumstances. Kudos to anyone who has gone to the extremes and made it back to tell about it.
BUT
We’ve become so enthralled with extremes these days that anything but seems weak or watered down. Just because someone else needs more contrast to get a message, learn a lesson, or make a point than you do, does NOT make your message less valid.
I felt compelled to address this after a third client this week came to me in the same conundrum: “Is my story enough?”
The truth is, there are people at every level of contrast. Plenty of whom can benefit from your story, your discoveries, your desire to be of service, from right where you are.
Please don’t wait. Please share your gifts. Please take the time to get aligned with your message, then trust that those who need to see it will be drawn to it.
How can you release the story of not having a big enough story? What happens when you align with the uniqueness of your story, right now, right where you are, and start making an impact from there?
You change lives. You make magic. You feel deep satisfaction in living your purpose and making a difference in the lives of others. More of this, please.
